Willi Schiener is an artist stirred by epidemic environmental crisis, and feels compelled to graphically portray the state of the world's ecology using every day objects.

Many of Willi's paintings are warnings . . . filled with truths that speak to the core of our survival, and yet are appropriate in virtually any decorative setting.
All works displayed are original and are the property of Willi Schiener.   Reproduction in whole or in part is strictly prohibited.

In Loving Memory
Artist Comment: “Black Out” was done entirely by candle light.  A strong thunderstorm, a sudden lightening bolt hit nearby, and the lights went out.  I light a candle, went to the sink, turned on the water, but only a trickle came out.  Immediately, it inspired me to paint the painting “Black Out”.  Inconvenience, without electricity for some hours, or days, entered my mind.  I clearly could relate to the hardship of people with no electricity for weeks, or even months.  This painting was done with a heavy heart, but also with great joy.
